Following the conclusion of the 2016 World Championship Group Stage, which saw SK Telecom T1 and Cloud9 confirming their spots to the playoffs, a live draw was conducted on the stage to determine the four Quarter-finals pairings.

SKT, the reigning World Champions, will face China’s Royal Never Give Up on October 14th, while domestic rivals ROX Tigers and Samsung Galaxy will duel against EDward Gaming and Cloud9, respectively. Meanwhile, H2K-Gaming, Europe’s last remaining again, will fight for a spot in the semi-finals against Albus NoX Luna.

Game 1: SK Telecom T1 v Royal Never Give Up – October 14th – 18:00 EST / 15:00 PST

Game 2: ROX Tigers v EDward Gaming – October 15th – 18:00 EST / 15:00 PST

Game 3: H2K-Gaming v Albus NoX Luna – October 16th – 18:00 EST / 15:00 PST

Game 4: Samsung Galaxy v Cloud9 – October 13th – 18:00 EST / 15:00 PST

The 2016 World Championship Quarter-finals kicks off Thursday at The Chicago Theatre, in Chicago, Illinois. The four winners qualify to the Semi-finals, which will be taking place on October 23rd/24th at the Madison Square Garden in New York. The winner of Game 1 will face off the winner of Game 2, whereas the winner of Game 3 will play against the winner of Game 4.

Finally, the two remaining teams will decide who will be taking home the Summoner’s Cup on October 30rd, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
