For the third day of the group stages of the 2016 World Championship, two Korean teams decided to bring fresh blood into their starting line-up: for reigning Champions SK Telecom T1, Kang “Blank” Sun-gu will be starting tonight against China’s I May, replacing veteran Bae “bengi” Seong-ung, who had a great performance during yesterday’s crushing victory against North America’s Cloud9, according to LoL Esports.

This will be the first World Championship game for the 18-year old, who arrived in December last year.

Regional rivals Samsung Galaxy will also undergo a change following their loss to Team SoloMid yesterday: Jo “Core JJ” Yong-in, who had a strong showing at the Korean Regional Qualifiers, will be the team’s starter support today, replacing Kwon “Wraith” Ji-min.

Samsung will try to recover from the hard loss to the North American Champions against China’s Royal Never Give Up – the game is set to start at 21:00 PST, whereas SKT duel LPL’s third seed a few hours earlier – at 19:00, to be more precise.

UPDATE: I May will also come with a change to tonight’s match against SK Telecom T1: Kang “BaeMe” Yang-hyun will be playing in the mid lane, stepping in for Kang “Athena” Ha-woon, who went 3-1-7 as Varus during yesterday’s win against the Flash Wolves.
