Midlaner Danny “Shiphtur” Le announced today on his Twitter that he has left Apex Gaming, and is looking for offers for the 2017 season. This comes a week later after NBA franchise Philadelphia 76ers acquired Apex and Team Dignitas, merging the organizations under the Dignitas banner.

After defending Team Dignitas’ colors for more than two years, the Canadian joined the Apex organization in May, following Dignitas’ relegation from the North American LCS after a 3-0 loss to Team Dragon Knights at the Summer Promotion Tournament, and the subsequent transfer of their Challenger Series spot to Apex, who created a sister team – Apex Pride – to compete in North America’s secondary league.

The team however ended fifth in the regular season, losing the decisive tie-breaker for the final spot to the playoffs to Dream Team.
