Royal Never Give Up announced in a video released on Weibu that Jian “Uzi” Zihao, considered one of the best players in the world, has joined the current LPL Champions’ roster.

This comes only a few hours later of Newbee’s (until recently Qiao Gu Reapersannouncement revealing the ADC’s departureUPDATE: the link was deleted by the organization, but a tweet, removed as well, said:

Saying goodbye to a dear friend – Uzi, who is leaving our League of Legends Division. (@NewbeeCN) May 15, 2016

This will be Uzi’s second stint within the Royal organization, having defended Royal Club’s and Star Horn Royal Club’s colors from 2012 to 2014, where he led the teams to two World Championships finals, in 2013 and 2014, ultimately losing against SK Telecom T1 K and Samsung White, respectively.

After leaving SHRC, the Marksmen joined Oh My God, but was unable to bring the team to the 2015 World Championship, and left the side in December to join Qiao Gu Reapers, where he, however, was relegated to a substitute position under Yu “Peco” Rui.

Now joining the Chinese champions, Uzi will re-encounter two players who defeated him in the 2014 Final in Seoul: Jang “Looper” Hyeong-seok and Cho “Mata” Se-hyeong, although it is currently unknown if the 19-year old will replace Cheng “Wuxx” Wang as the team’s starter ADC ( who also has Zhu “NaMei” Jia-Wen on the roster) in the upcoming LPL Summer Split, due to start in less than 2 weeks.
