INTZ, representing Brazil in the International Wildcard Qualifier, a tournament that will determine which Wildcard region will head into the 2017 World Championship, advanced to the finals by defeating both Saigon Jokers, the team representing Vietnam and Albus NoX Luna, former Hard Random, representing Russia.
With a campaign of five wins and two losses, INTZ found their beat and were able to overcome the bad start, when they were defeated easily by Lyon Gaming. Their other loss came by the hands of the Australian team Chiefs Gaming.
The finals will be played next week, September 3 and 4, in Curitiba. Broadcasts will be made by SporTV, one of the largest sports channel in Brazil and also online, on Twitch, Youtube and Azubu. The teams qualified are, by order, Lyon Gaming, INTZ, Dark Passage and Albus NoX. The only thing left to be decided is the seed of the teams headed to the Finals.
