After reports that Gambit’s Mikhail “Dosia” Stolyarov, a Russian national, took Evgeniy “zLex” Kim’s place in Kazakhstan’s decisive match against France for a spot at TWC 2016, Gambit eSports announced that they will investigate the incident internally, and that the organization will “severely punish the players” in case the allegations confirm to be true, although a report by HTLV affirms that the players admitted Dosia taking zLex’s place.
Dauren “AdreN” Kystaubayev and Rustem “mou” Telepov, also under contract with the Russian organization, were on the Kazakh national team line-up.
@GambitEsports If these allegations are true, our players will be severely punished.

Despite the 3-2 win against France, Kazakhstan was disqualified from TWC, with its spot being awarded to France. The national team received an one year ban from the event, as well as the entire Kazakh line-up and Dosia, banned for two years.
The World Championships 2016 will take place between October 5-9, in Belgrade, Serbia.
