The 9th of July marks the day CNB e-sports club and INTZ will face off in the CBLoL’s Winter Split finals. After an exciting split, the two best teams in Brazil will decide who is going to participate in the 2016 International Wildcard Qualifier, the event that determines which two Wildcard regions will earn a spot at the upcoming 2016 Season World Championship.

CNB was under suspicion after the signing of Pedro “LEP” Marcari and Gustavo “Minerva” Alves, with lots of people claiming they wouldn’t go far in the split, but they managed to prove the critics wrong. INTZ, on the other hand, managed to maintain the same players in the starting lineup, with the team chemistry being their strong point.

CNB and INTZ had the best campaigns in the split: 4 wins, 3 draws and 3 wins, 4 draws (the CBLoL uses a best of 2 format), respectively. It is very likely that both teams will follow the style of play they showed in the semifinals, with CNB trying to innovate more and surprise INTZ.

This year marks as well, the first time the Blumers (CNB’s nickname with the fans) and INTZ face each other in a final: CNB was second place both in 2013 and 2014, while INTZ has never won the Winter Split, meaning that we’ll have an unprecedented champion.

Scheduled to be played at Ginásio do Ibirapuera, the final showdown of the split will be broadcasted live by one of the biggest sports channels of Brazil: SporTV, who is also going to publish articles and texts related to CBLoL in their website and social media. The broadcaster will as well discuss the finals throughout its schedule during the day.
